Prince Kaybee is set to drop his last single for the year 2020 this week.
Taking to social media, the DJ says his feature with Mampintsha is his last song to be released this year.
The song titled, Astrende has been highly anticipated by fans after teasing it weeks ago, and it will be released on Friday, 5th of September.
However, 50% proceeds from the song will be going to charities and organizations fighting against women violence.
“While this action will not reverse the pain and damage caused by Gender based violence, I’ve decided to donate 50% of the proceeds of my collaboration and Mampintsha to charities and organizations that are working hard to stop the scourge of violence against women”, Prince tweeted after apologized to the anti-GBV team for collaborating with Mandla.
“My recent collaboration with Mampintsha was received with overwhelming love and criticism from my fans. While (the) majority of the audience loved the song others were not happy with me for teaming up with a man who has been accused of GBV”.
“I would like to profusely and unreservedly apologize for my lack of judgment and insensitivity. I believe that (the)best form of apology is changed behaviour and making efforts to self-correct by acting.”
